Back Story:
This year's Hong Kong Whisky Bar Joint Bottling is a 20-Year-Old "Charlestown" single malt that was distilled in 1999. Charlestown is the pseudonym of a famous Speyside distillery that cannot be named. Matured in a sherry hogshead, this cask displays an amazing sherry profile that closely resembles their lost style back in the 80s, with distinctive flavors of dark chocolate, dried & fresh fruits. We are delighted to collaborate the label design with local artist KT518 kt518. The label features the Cheung Chau Bun Festival (太平清醮) which is a unique traditional cultural event in Hong Kong.
